Hello there! My name is Angel, and I am an adorable American Eskimo dog. I need a good home with people who will love me and take care of me...experienced American Eskimo owners would work out best! I am 2 1/2 years old and will make a great companion to someone who wants great Eskie company. I have been raised with kids and love my kids, but I am a bit nervous and jumpy around new people, so my new forever home might be best without young children.

I will impress you with my many tricks. I sit, lay down, play dead, roll over, give high 5's, and shake your hand. And listen to this...I ring a bell by the door to let you know when I need to go outside to potty! I love to run around outside, and will let you know by my bark if anyone approaches my yard! and I really love having my belly rubbed!

I am a bit nervous around new people, especially men, but will warm up to you with lots of love, patience and treats. By the way, I only have 1/2 of one ear...I was born that way, but it gives me lots of character and makes me extra special! My current owners are very sad that I have to go, but they will be very happy when I find that perfect family for me! Could that be you?

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
