Hi, my name is Dottie and I am being fostered just outside of Portland, Oregon.  I just adore humans, especially men.  Yup, I am a daddy's girl.  I even tried to bond with the plumber while he was working under the sink.  I want to be a cuddly lap dog.  I would like to be the queen of my castle as the only dog.  I love my neighborhood walks and sad when we get back home.  I don't much bother with cats but love to play with toys.  I am learning to sit and off.  I am a little uncertain around young kids.  I am crate trained and sleep well at night in my crate.  I am pretty good at being brushed.

I love to do zoomies all over the back yard, I love to play. I can dance on my hind feet. I love laying beside you in a chair; and curl up with you for a nap. I love to be petted and get whole body massages.

I really likes car rides. I know to come when called,  "sit" and "watch".  I know "go potty." A fenced yard is a MUST.

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Angel Merritt: Angel@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Thank you and WOOF! DOTTIE

More about Dottie of OR

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
