Helo, my name is Jedi, and I need a new home, I have become to protective of the home I am in. I feel I need to protect my family and have bitten a few strangers. This is what my owners have to say about me.
Away from our home, for example at a dog park or on a walk, Jedi is friendly, lovable, completely approachable, obedient on and off-leash. He is friendly with strangers and plays well with other dogs. Strangers and children can approach him and pet him without any incident. At home he is HIGHLY anxious, following my husband and me where ever we go, however he is completely obedient at a first call when out in our yard. For the first several bites, neither of us were home. The first was when we were all out and he was outside the house on an electric fence. We, of course, at this time did not know he would pose any threat to anyone and allowed him out on this sunny day. A parent I know came to the house to drop something off. He warned her away with barking, she continued to approach, and he bit her. She required some topical antibiotic, but was an er nurse and treated herself.
They now realize I cannot be left alone outside with an invisible electric fence. I think I would do well in a home where I do not have to be the alpha.
