Hi everyone! I'm Tosha. I'm a pretty independent gal. I am fine if my foster parent is out of the room and I am also happy relaxing next to him. I sleep well in my crate and will even put myself to bed in the crate. It's my security blanket. :) I'm not a big eater, I like it best if my foster dad holds the food in his hand so I can gently eat it but I will have the occasional nibble on my own. I love my squeeky monkey. Tug of war has been my favorite game thus far. I walk well on her leash without much coercion. I met her foster brothers and sister recently and did very well. I was a little shy at first but wanted to play tug of war with Scooby but he was more concerned with stealing my new monkey. I think that's normal with all new toys right? Who doesn't like new things! I've had no accidents thus far in the house. I enjoy to be petted but not for hours, and I'll give you that look like "are you done yet?". I have a very very mellow attitude. I'm not much of a barker or growlie girl either. I am about 5 yrs old and weigh just 20 lbs. I'm a gem. ;)

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
