Katie was found by a Good Samaritan wandering the streets of Phoenix in July of 2013. After many attempts to find her owner, a member of the Arizona American Eskimo Association provided her with a foster home. Katie is a miniature Eskie who LOVES & lives to play fetch. She will actually bring you a stuffed toy, do a dance if you don't throw it right away and after retrieving it, she will bring it back to you. She is 6 years old. She walks well on a leash, rides well in a car, and is a good alert dog. She is house-trained and uses a doggie door. Katie does very well around children, especially if they will play with her. She gets along well with other dogs, male & female. We don't know how she is around cats, but the Good Samaritan had cats, so we assume she is fine with them. Katie is not a lap dog, though she only weighs about 15 pounds. She had severe dental problems and had 21 teeth removed on August 28, 2013. However, she is still able to eat the kibble & hard treats. Katie is an absolute joy and is a talker. Katie is active and needs an active lifestyle. If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Cindy at cindyg@eskierescuers.com.
