***  Fostered in San Diego, CA ***

This boy was a stray brought into the shelter on 2/11/2014 by a Good Samaritan.  He was the victim of a dog/coyote attack that had occurred about a week earlier.

His recovery has been nothing short of miraculous.  His wound area is healed completely and he has NO special medical needs.  He is VERY loyal to his foster mom and enjoys the company of both dogs and cats.  Henry is a standard sized eskie (26 lbs) and said to be approximately 5-7 yrs old.  He is a very loving little eskie with tons of charm!  He is fine around other dogs and oblivious of cats.  There are a few men that make him nervous.  He loves to be pet and loved on.  He walks great on a leash and is crate trained.

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact ANGEL MERRITT: Angel@eskierescuers.org.  You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process.  A completed application does not obligate you to anything but gives us details about your family members (human and pet), lifestyle, and pet history to see if your family would be a good fit for my needs.  Thank you and WOOF! Henry

More about Henry of CA

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Special Needs: Will need soft food so as to not get stuck in his throat from the scar tissue from the trachea punctures.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
