Hello everyone - I am Jasper.  I am a funny, quirky, sweet, handsome eskie boy.  I am so thankful to be alive and on my way to a healthy pain-free life.  I spent the first years of my life in a hoarding situation.  I was rescued in August 2013.  The rescue group that saved me was not able to provide the medical care I required so I came to ERU.  I recently had femoral head ostectomy (FHO) on my left leg and am recovering very nicely.  I have lived with a lot of dogs my whole life and before I came to ERU I was picked on and attacked by a dog constantly.  I would really like to spend the rest of my life as the only fur kid if possible.  I have so much personality and love and I would like to be the center of some lucky person's life.  If you are interested in meeting me please contact my foster mommy Heidi (Heidi@eskierescuers.org).

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
