Angel was owner surrendered because her owners were no longer able to care for her.  She's a miniature American Eskimo Dog, approximately 10 years old.  Angel is a special needs Eskie who needs a special owner.  She was very recently diagnosed with diabetes and she needs insulin shots every day.  Her Foster Mom is finding out that it's very easy to do and Angel has been adjusting very well.  She is so worth the additional care.  Everyone who meets Angel falls in love with her.  Sweet, sweet sweet!

Angel is good with all people.  She walks up to complete strangers with her tail wagging, asking for petting.  She's good with kids and other dogs.  She was living with a cat and just left the cat alone.  She weighs 22 pounds but she needs to lose some weight and she has already as her health has improved.  She feels so much better!  

Very sweet older girl and very cute!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
