Hi, my name is Mugsy! I'm a 3- or 4-year old standard-sized American Eskimo boy who weighs about 30 pounds. My foster mommy says I'm as sweet as I am handsome! See how pure white and adorable-looking I am?! I'm neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm also housebroken and recently had some dental work done, so now I can flash that big trademark Eskie smile with great pride! :o) I'm a very sweet and gentle boy who gets along well with other dogs. I'll let you know soon how I am with kids and kitties (after my foster mommy has had a chance to see me around them). But she says I'm a complete love bug, so they probably wouldn't be a problem for me! I was in a shelter for 3 months, so I'm VERY happy to be in a good foster home. But I'm really looking forward to being in a permanent home with my new forever family-will that be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Rockford, IL with my foster mommy, Mary. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Mugsy!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
