Hi, my name is Duncan! I'm a standard-sized 2-year old male American Eskimo mix! I weigh about 30 pounds and have a very smooth and pure white coat of fur that is not as thick as that of a pure-bred Eskie. I'm very cute, adorable, and very loving! I always have a smile on my face, am very willing to please and have lots of love to give! I am neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I am housebroken and crate trained. I am very good with people, get along with other dogs and am pretty good with kitty cats. I'm a high energy Eskie who enjoys plenty of exercise and playing with you--I especially like playing ball! I'm a very outgoing guy who likes being with people, and want to be by your side as much as possible. I am very affectionate and love having my ears scratched. I also enjoy lots of belly rubs! Won't you consider taking me into your life so you can see my big beautiful smile? If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Columbus, Misssissippi with my foster mommy, Debbie. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You may also e-mail my foster mommy Debbie at: debbien@eskierescuers.org You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Duncan!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
