Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hello, my name is Julien! I'm a 2-year old small standard-sized American Eskimo male who weighs 24 pounds. I'm very sweet and quite adorable-just take a look at my pictures and see if you don't agree! :o) My foster mommy thinks I'm a really fantastic guy, and I'd love to have the chance to show you she's right! I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. I'm also housebroken and kennel-trained and like to go for walks and car rides. I like other dog, but we don't know about kitties because my foster mommy doesn't have any. I like to play and get lots of belly rubs. I'm so easy going and so sweet that you won't be able to help falling in love with me! I'm waiting eagerly for my forever home, so I can be your constant friend and companion. Won't you adopt me and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Columbus, MS with my foster mommy, Debbie. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! For more information on me, please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail my foster mommy directly at: debbien@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! Julien!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
