Hi, my name is Kaiser! I'm a 3- or 4-year old standard-sized American Eskimo boy who weighs 38 pounds. I may act kind of shy when I first meet you, but once I warm up to you you'll see how sweet and charming I really am! I'm a pure bred Eskie who is mostly pure white, except for my biscuit-colored ears and two spots of biscuit on my back. I'm neutered, current on all my shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm potty trained and crate/kennel trained too. I even chose my own name! My foster mommy saw a picture of an Eskie named Kaiser that looked like me, and when she asked me if I liked that name, I wagged my tail a whole lot! She then tried out another name on me and I stopped my tail wagging, but as soon as she said Kaiser again, my tail started going non-stop again! Just how cool is that?! :o) I like to go for walks and do very well on the leash. I also love to go for car rides. I'm very good with other doggies, and with kitties too! We don't know about kids yet, because my foster mommy doesn't have any (well, not the 2-legged kind), but because of my sweet and happy nature I bet I'd be fine with them! I'm very social and VERY lovable, and want always to be near you to give you all my affection! I have lots of love in my heart and lots of love to give! Once I adjust to my environment, I just won't stop wagging my tail to show you how happy I am to be with you!!! My foster mommy is really crazy about me because I'm such a super neat guy, but she says I need my own special home. Won't you adopt me as your faithful loving companion and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I'm waiting very eagerly for that special someone who thinks I'm special too! If you are interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Simpsonville, SC with my foster mommy, Leah. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuers.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Kaiser!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
