About Miracle!

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 04-126
  • Housetrained: Yes
Hi, my name is Miracle! I'm a 3-year old miniature American Eskimo girl who weighs a mere 17 pounds. I was born with a blind left eye, but that doesn't hinder me in any way. I can still see if you have a delicious doggie treat in hand to give me! :o)

I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm also housebroken, kennel trained, and leash trained, and I like to go for rides in the car!

I'm still pretty shy right now, though my sweet foster mommy is coaxing me out of my shell. I was mistreated and abused in my previous life, but with all the love and encouragement I'm getting from my foster mommy (and from all my Eskie foster brothers and sisters too!), I'm starting to warm up slowly. I was covered in mud from head to toe when I was rescued, but I'm really pure white, as you can see in these new pictures. (My foster mommy gave me a bath, so now I feel like a brand new Eskie!) You can see what a luxurious coat I have. Don't you think I'm just gorgeous? :o)

I get along very well with other dogs, and with kids also. (My foster mommy has a 6-year old granddaughter who is used to being around us Eskies, so I like her a lot!) We don't know how I'd be around kitties, though, because there aren't any living here. But I'm VERY sweet and am waiting eagerly for my new forever family-will that be you? I need someone who understands what I've been through up until now and will love me and spoil me like a princess! Won't you take me into your home and give me a chance at a wonderful new life?

If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Jefferson City, TN with my foster mommy, Jane. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away!

Please contact Lizat: leah@eskierescuersunited.org for more information on me!

You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me!

Thank you and WOOF!

Miracle!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
