Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Frenzy! I'm a 4-year old miniature American Eskimo boy who stands quite tall at about 15 inches, but I only weigh 18 pounds! I think I'm quite a handsome guy, and a real catch-take a look at my pictures and see if you don't agree! I'm neutered and current on all my vaccinations. I was recently diagnosed heartworm positive and am undergoing heartworm treatment, but with the wonderful care I'm getting from my foster mommy, I'll be as good as new in no time at all! I'm also housebroken so I won't make any messes in your home. I was surrendered by my mommy because her new family was allergic to me. :o( I'm very good with children of all ages and I get along great with other dogs and cats too! I'm very submissive and don't have to be top dog if you have a playmate for me. Don't let my name fool you--I'm actually a very good boy and like being with my humans, sitting with you and cuddling while we watch TV! :o) Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I know I am waiting for my new forever family-will that be you? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Jefferson City, TN with my foster mommy, Jane. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! Please contact Liz at: liz@eskierescuersunited.org for more information on me! You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Frenzy!
Eskie Rescuers United
|
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
