About Scarlett!

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 05-228
Hi, my name is Scarlett! I'm a 2-year old miniature-sized American Eskimo female who weighs 15 pounds. I'm a very pretty girl, as you can see by my pictures. (Please excuse the picture of me on the couch with dirty feet. That's the way I was when my foster mommy got me, but she bathed me and brushed me, so now I'm all clean and fluffy and oh-so-gorgeous!)

I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. I'm working on the potty training thing, and am doing very well too! I need to learn how to walk on a leash, but if you teach me, I'll show you how smart I am and how quickly I can learn! When I want your attention or need something, I will paw you so you won't forget I'm here. I could use some obedience training classes to teach me how to be your perfect little girl.

I just adore my Eskie brothers and sisters and I'm great with cats too. Though I have an easygoing personality, I'm a whirlwind of energy and just love to play, play, play! I love everyone, including kids, but it might be better if I were in a home without smaller children. You see, I forget myself sometimes when I'm playing and jumping around, and I would hate to knock anyone over or scratch them when I was only trying to have fun with them. I also enjoy playing with my squeaky toys-especially when I pull out all the stuffing and find that squeak thing inside! HeHe!

I'm a VERY sweet girl who is eagerly waiting her new forever home. I want my very own family that will love and spoiled and pamper me. I promise I'll be your new best friend and always be here for you!

If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in McMinnville, TN with my foster mommy, Beth.

For more information on me, please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail my foster mommy directly at: bethf@eskierescuersunited.org.

You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs.

Thank you and WOOF!

Scarlett!

More about Scarlett!

Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
