Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hello, my name is Winterbelle! I'm a 2 to 2-1/2 year old miniature American Eskimo female who weighs 22 pounds. I'm sorry there isn't a better picture, but I am so playful and active that it's hard to get good shots of me! I'm a beautiful girl with a snow white coat of fur. (It's a bit thin just now because I had 5 baby pups in March, but it will grow back very quickly!) I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, as well as on flea and tick prevention. I'm also housebroken and kennel-trained. I love to go for walks and for car rides! I love everyone and am great with dogs, cats and kids (including the younger ones). I'm a very sweet girl who just loves being by your side and giving you lots of hugs and kisses! I love to be petted and get those great belly rubs-what bliss! I always have a smile on my face and am very affectionate and forever wanting to please you! I'm a great girl who wants my new forever family to love me as much as I will love you. Won't you adopt me and give me a chance at a wonderful life? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Rock Hill, SC with my foster mommy, Catherine. For more information on me, please contact Leah at: leah@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! There is an adoption fee required to adopt me. Also, please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out our fosters as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF! Winterbelle!
Eskie Rescuers United

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
