Hi, my name is Mollee! I'm an American Eskimo / Cocker Spaniel mix (though you might have trouble finding the Eskie in me). I'm a Hurricane Katrina survivor who is now looking for a new forever home. I'm a very cute little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.
I get along well with the other dogs here (and there sure are a lot of them!). I'm very active and playful, and I love to initiate play wrestling matches with my foster siblings. I have to admit I'm very scared of storms--wouldn't you be too, after living through Katrina? I don't even like to go outside if it's raining, but that just means I won't traipse back into your house with wet paws! HeeHee! My foster mommy says I do best if I'm put in my crate when the weather gets stormy, so I'll feel all safe and protected in my own little nest. I'm a very good, sweet girl. I'm not too barky, and I have no food aggression. I'm very loving and snuggly, and I make a great lap dog, because that's my favorite place to be--in your lap, getting lots of pets and kisses! I'm a great little girl who is waiting as patiently as I can for my new forever family--will that be you? Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful new life? If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Bill: bill@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. I'm in Columbus, MS with my foster mommy, Debbie. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is an adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Thank you and WOOF!
