Woof! My name is Jasmine. I'm as sweet as the flower I'm named after and I would make some lucky person or family a wonderful companion. I sure am a pretty girl, but my pictures are out of date -- I'll be posting new pictures of my pretty self very soon.
I'm spayed, up-to-date on all my vaccinations and I'm on flea/tick prevention. I am very polite and charming -- I'll even put my paw up to you when I want you to give me some lovin'. I'm sweet and friendly; my foster mommy says I warm-up fast once I get to know you. I'm very quiet for an eskie -- I rarely bark. I'm just a calm, laid back, southern belle. I ride well in the car but you might have to coax me a bit to get a leash on me for walks. I play a little "hard to get" because I'm not used to it. Speaking of "play", well I was taught to be a lady so you won't see me going bananas over a silly fluffy toy. But I do like you to chase me around the yard -- I'll give you a real sweet eskie smile to let you know I'm having fun. My housebreaking manners are a little rusty and my foster mom is working with me on that so I can be more consistent. I do not soil my crate so I have a good foundation to work from. I get along well with other dogs, but I do guard my food dish (just from dogs, not you though). Oh, and one more thing -- I'll let you in on a little secret -- chicken is one of my favorite things. If you spoil me with a little chicken now and then, you won't hear any complaining from little ol' me! If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Kim at: kkstewart2002@yahoo.com. Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. (We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg.) If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Hugs & Kisses!
