Meet Princess Nicki!

Nicki is a petite, miniature female American Eskimo. She is 5 years old, spayed, and up to date on all her vetting, vaccines and preventatives. She weighs about 14# and is house trained.

Nicki is "laid back", but as a young adult, she likes to play and is quite active.  She especially loves to jump!  She needs an owner/family who is active and willing to give her the daily play, walks and exercise the needs and wants.  A fenced yard is also required for Nicki's new forever home, as she likes to bolt the door and run.  A fenced yard will give her security as well as the space to do her "zoomies".  While she is affectionate and loves to be near her owner(s), and will follow you around everywhere you go, don't expect her to be content laying around all day.

Nicki is very good around kids, even toddlers, but likes to be able to take breaks from them, so visiting children are fine but a home with children would be too much for her. She gets along well with other dogs.  She's a little cautious around men and has to warm up to them, so a woman in the house is a necessity.  Her new owner needs to be home most of the time and be physically active.

Nicki is being fostered in Miami, FL.  If you have any questions, please email dyan@eskierescuers.org.  If you think you are the perfect active person or family for Nicki, please complete our adoption application at www.eskierescuers.org.  If you are not familiar with the breed, please research it first, as American Eskimo dogs are not for everyone.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
