Gentle, sweet and loving boy looking for a forever home in kind
Mikey just arrived to us from a local shelter. We don't know much about his life before this, but we think he had it pretty rough for awhile. We do know he was a stray on the streets of Miami and arrived filthy and covered in fleas. This is probably why he is so appreciative of everything we do for him. Once out of the shelter, the first order of business was a warm bath, which was like a spa luxery to him - he enjoyed it so much he fell asleep during it! Mikey is an older boy, we think a senior. He is very grateful to be out of the shelter and in a loving foster home. He is so grateful he even smiles in his sleep. He is gentle, loving and very sweet. He is happy to receive love and cuddles, and his tail has wagged nonstop since he has arrived. He ithrilled to just be in the same room with you, and to lie by your feet. Mikey needs some vetting and a dental, plus a little time and TLC to recover from his previous rough life of neglect. So far, he is really enjoying the process! Mikey gets along with other dogs and loves people. He is a calm and quiet dog and would be a great companion for a peaceful house or apratment. He is housebroken.
