Hi my name is Ahnya as in (on ya) because I love to be where ever you are and on you if possible. I came into rescue from a family that was not able to keep me in their new home. They had rescued me from the streets. When I came to my new foster home I was covered in fleas and a pretty dingy color. I got a number of baths those first few days and then was set up to see the vet. I am up to date on my shots and we are not sure if I have been spayed or not. The vet could not see a scar. We will ensure this before I go to my furever home. I am HW negative and full of healthy energy. I will hop up into your lap and give you all the kisses you allow me. My special friend and playmate is a boy dog named Kaiser who has been showing me the ropes. We have been playing wrestle mania in the living room and I must say that as a little girl dog, I can hold my own against the boys:) Check in on me from time to time to see if I am ready for a new adventure and a new furever home. Special Needs: I am a little hand shy so be a bit gentle with me when we meet and all will be fine. I do ok with a crate if need be, but I truly would rather sleep in a chair or if allowed your bed. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
