Hi my name is Rosco. When the volunteer from ERU came and pulled me out of the shelter I was so happy! First thing I did was take a real lonnnnnnggg pee! Then I rolled around in the grass on my back just enjoying the feel of the cool ground on my skin.
I get along great with other dogs and as in Eskie fashion am protective of my home and people. I will give a warning growl to let you know my person has to tell me it is ok before I trust you. I was in pretty sad shape when I came to ERU...my ear had some pretty bad sores and I had a cough. My coat was dull and dry and my foot is missing in the back. You can't even tell unless you pick up my leg and look for it. I am told I have the prettiest amber eyes. The picture of me is not the most flattering but they are working on getting better ones so you can see how good care and attention will bring out the best in me. I am neutered and upt to date on shots as well as HW negative. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
