Foxy
Foxy was an eskie/shiba inu mix ERU saved from a high kill shelter in 2018. Shortly after she arrived, she had to have both eyes removed due to intense pain from glaucoma. Sadly, Foxy passed away last week. She was being long-term fostered in Florida and her foster found her deceased in her bed. She had been slowing down some lately, but still had a good appetite and enjoyed going out in the yard.........Helen Sanders (ERU Foster), April 9, 2021

Frosty
My first foster for Eskie Rescuers United passed away. He came to me from NC when his owner passed away. For sure he was one of the smartest and sweetest. Thanks to him, I made a forever friend with his mom. I'm grateful that ERU gave me the chance to foster him. He will always be in my heart.......Mayli Someillan, April 16, 2021

Frosty
It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that sweet Frosty passed away this morning. They believe he had a stroke; we are devastated. He was perfectly happy Monday and then woke up sick Tuesday - he was limping couldn’t walk well spent the day with him in bed we had called the vet but she was in surgery they said we could bring him by and leave him but I didn’t want to leave him there in a cage so we got up this morning made an appointment we’re getting ready to take him in and he had a seizure he passed away in the vets office with me holding him the Vet said there was nothing that could’ve been done for him,we loved him so much! We would not have given up these past two years for anything he was the sweetest dog we ever had!........Becky and James Johnson, August 21, 2019
