We adopted our Sullivan when we voluteered with ERU in 2006. He turned 15 in January (we think). We had to put him down today. He was my faithful companion for 14 years and was loved deeply. We will miss him....... Cara Cue McDaniel, July 2, 2020 
The vet diagnosed Sydney with liver and kidney disease back in August. She said we couldn't give any pills for the neuropathy or back leg stiffness, because her kidneys couldn't handle it. About the only option was to admit her to a hospital for dialysis. But that wouldn't help with the legs or the confusion. The vet said when the back legs go stiff, she was in a lot of pain. We decided to put her out of her misery. It was a sad weekend at the Dionis house over the weekend.
