**** I am located in Carlisle, PA ***** Hi my name is DJ I am a 7 year old male eskie. I was found as a stray in WV and taken to the shelter in WV. I told everyone I did not like little kids but did anyone listen to me?? NO!! A family came in and adopted me. I was a great dog for them. Although I did not like the neighborhood kids coming up to the fence teasing me. So I would growl at them...A LOT. I never bit anyone, but I sure sounded nasty. So after 6 months I was taken back to the shelter again. This time the shelter said we are sending you to a rescue where the adopters understand what "Doesn't like children" means. So here I am. I am a great little boy. I am totally housebroken. Good with older children (over 12) and am an all around great dog. I do not get up on the bed, but prefer to sleep in a corner in the room. Like all eskies I want to be with you, all the time. So far here I have been very quiet, except when I was put into a kennel. Although I do not need to be kenneled. I have done nothing wrong at all in the house. Which she thinks is amazing because even male dogs who are housebroken when they come in here like to mark their spot to let everyone know they were here. NOT ME. I do not have to show my testosterone to anyone. I know how wonderful I am. Plus that makes more work for foster Mom. The more work she has the less time she can spend with me. I like her spending time with me. I am ready for adoption NOW, I have clean bill of health. I am already almost perfect temperament wise. I say almost only because I don't like them little screaming kids running around and teasing me. So if you are looking for an almost perfect guy, here I am. I am ready to go for a ride to my new home. I like going for car rides. But you better hurry up because there are not too many of us that are a well behaved as me. So I wont be around here long.
