Max is a great little boy who recently came to us after a long trip back and forth from Iowa. He is looking forward to a great, loving home to join.

This little boy does great with dogs of all sizes as we found out after a fun play date with a cane mastiff and two pugs.  He has such a happy disposition and loves to follow you around the house to see what you are up to.

Loves to play with tennis balls, when you say ball, he knows to go looking for his ball around the room and usually does a good job finding it!  Doesn't quite hand it right over yet, once found he brings it back to you and then likes to put it half way in his mouth for a little game of tug of war.

Max did well with a two year old boy who stopped by, coming up, giving him a nice big kiss then letting him go about his business.  He is a quiet fellow who barely makes any noise unless he hears someone at the door.  He loves to run around outside and would do great running around in a backyard in his new home.

A fluffy fur ball with a filled out body, he loves to jump up and put his head in your lap while you pet him or roll over next to you for a good belly rub.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
