Hi there! I'm Mr. Wizard, but you can call me Wizzy for short. I'm such a sweet boy, and at 12 years old, I'm still very spry. I'm a skinny boy, and my foster mommy is taking care of that, so I should be at my normal weight lickety-split!

I have a beautiful and unique kinky curl to my coat--it gets me extra points with the ladies! :o) I'm a really laid-back boy, and I get along really swell with cats. (Notice the picture of me with my feline friend?) I like to play with plush-squeaky toys, but I prefer to be an only dog.

I'm neutered, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. I'm also housebroken and have excellent manners!

I'm a Senior Sweetheart and I would make a great companion for anyone, including an older person. I'm eligible to be adopted for a lower fee through Eskie Rescuers United's "New Leash on Life" Senior program.

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Deborah at: deborah@eskierescuers.org. Better yet, you can go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me.

More about Wizzy

Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
