Molly is 2 years old and weighs 14#. For reasons we can't fathom, her owners surrendered her to their local shelter and said they didn't have time for her. We think, for a young Eskie, she is relatively low maintenance. She is a gorgeous purebred miniature Eskie, with the softest, silkiest fur imaginable. She loves attention and to be petted. She isn't terribly high energy for a 2 year old Eskie, and while she has a fenced back yard and other young dogs to play with in her foster home, she really prefers to be with her people, being cuddled, petted or loved on.
She is good with other dogs and cats - actually, she pretty much ignores both of them. She is a little protective of a lap she is sitting on and wants to resource guard it, so that behavior shouldn't be encouraged. She's also a little skittish of loud noises and activity, so we don't think an active home or one with very small children would be suitable for her. However, she is good around children older than 7 or 8 years who know who to behave around a dog. Molly is crate trained.
