Fostered in San Francisco, CA. 6 yrs old, male, neutered, up to date on vaccinations. Experienced dog owners only. Eskie experience is a big plus!!! Gordie is a great little dog who has, unfortunately, had a bit of a rough life before he came to us, having gone through multiple homes and owners who couldn’t take care of him to the extent that Gordie deserved. He prefers the company of humans, but gets along with other dogs when supervised. He does have a history of exhibiting leash aggression, but with a confident leader who can be strict at times, but with a loving hand, Carl does well with both dogs and humans. I need a home without small children. It’s not that I don't like them, they just make me nervous with their unpredictable movements and sounds. I love older kids and adults. I use to live with 2 dogs and get along fine with most other dogs and cats. I'm very eager to please but I get nervous if I don't have a strong leader and structure. Would you be willing to take me to obedience training class? I'm really smart and like to learn new things. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered).
