Gizmo is a very well-mannered, highly socialized Eskie!  A true delight for his foster family.  Great with kids, cats, dogs, and everyone he meets.  He walks well on a leash and very friendly (but calm) to animals we meet in the neighborhood.  Gizmo knows his basic obedience commands too!  This charming lap-dog is content to just lay next to you or on your lap for endless amounts of time. Fully house trained, crate trained, and even has experience with a doggie-door.  He is content to lay on the floor at your feet and waits to be invited up on furniture for a cuddle.  Travels great in the car and rarely barks (only to alert when someone comes to the door).  While he does have a double-coat, his isn’t very dense and he LOVED to be brushed and groomed.  Gizmo was lovingly cared for by his owner, who is now too sick to care for him.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
