Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog.
Hi, my name is Cutie! You can probably tell how I got my name! :o) I'm a little 14-week old American Eskimo boy who will probably be miniature-sized when I'm fully grown. (I weigh 8 pounds right now, and I'm still growing!) I am very hard to photograph because I never sit still! I am VERY busy doing puppy things at all times. Right now I am still with my brothers and my sister at our foster mommy's house. (Look for their pictures and profiles here on Petfinder.com very soon.)
I'm already neutered and am current so far on my puppy vaccinations (though I'm not old enough yet to have received the whole series of shots I will need). I'm also heartworm negative, but I'm too young to be put on heartworm medication just yet. I'm the most curious one of the whole litter, so I'm usually off doing my own thing. We all like to chew and chase and bark and run around outside, but I really need one special person to call my own, so I can learn things like manners and how to be a good companion. Are you that special person who will give me all the love I need? If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you. This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you! I'm in Edinburg, VA with my foster mommy, Claudia. If you would like to know more about me, please send an e-mail right away! For more information on me, please contact Wanda at: wanda@eskierescuersunited.org or feel free to e-mail my foster mommy directly at: claudia@eskierescuersunited.org. You can also go to our web site at: www.eskierescuersunited.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF! Cutie! Eskie Rescuers United Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
