I have an adoption pending!
Hi, my name is Misty Girl, I’m a small American Eskimo girl who is 9 years old and sweet as can be and I mean sweet. I am very quite, don’t really bark. I'm spayed, current on all my vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. I am fully housebroken. I am a really kind, gentle and a sweet girl. I love to sit beside you and be petted. When my foster mommy Julie gets up for work in the morning, I patiently wait for her to take me out to go potty. When she is done showering and getting dressed for work then I get to go out. My foster mommy Julie thinks I am so cute and sweet. I like to give her kisses all the time and she gives me kisses back. I like to sit on her lap too. I enjoy riding in the car and I do really well sitting there looking all pretty, but I am, and oh, I like going for nice walks too. I do get along well with other dogs and cats too. Love children of all ages and adults too. I'm what's known as a "velcro" eskie -- I like to follow you around the house wherever you go. We eskies are companion dogs and we like to be involved in all family activities. I also love to play with toys and rawhide chewies. Oh boy, I have two step brothers Jetson and Snowy who has been really nice to me, letting me come into their house and play with their toys and share their mom until I can get a furever new home. I'm such a very sweet girl, and I can't wait to find a home to call my own. Won't you adopt me and give me a chance at a wonderful new life? If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Wanda: wanda@eskierescuers.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I’m being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. To get me to you, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad," which is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain portion of the transport. We always ask that you, as the adopter, help out by taking the final leg. If I’m not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you may have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). There is a $150 adoption fee required, and please be aware that Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Woof!!!
